Bittersweet as a violent tale:

A chiffon-wrapped heart-shaped jewel case containing the last scattered pieces of my heart. The empty ticker slowly fills with the red magic juice again, the wounds heal and the last bit of its scars fades away.

Aside the casket there's the gleaming glue
being able to coalesce the last missing piece I kept for you.

I gently shut the box, turn the lights off and leave that part of my life far behind me.
